Sick Jade Goody woke up this morning to an idyllic view from her bedroom window - and set about pinning down Girls Aloud to play at her wedding.

The cancer-stricken star, who arrived home yesterday, wants the Brit Award winners to sing for her and Jack Tweed on Sunday.

And it also emerged that the 27-year-old will have a special pouch in her wedding dress for her medication.

The bride-to-be, who was yesterday wheeled out of hospital on a morphine drip and sucking a “lollipop” of painkillers, will have to top up her pain relief on the big day.

Goody will be marrying boyfriend Jack, 21, at Down Hall Country House Hotel, Hertfordshire, before returning to her nearby Essex home for the reception.

She was taken home by ambulance after doctors who can do no more to halt the spread of her illness agreed she could leave the Royal Marsden.

The dying reality star, who has just weeks to live, said she wanted to see grass and rolling fields.

She said: 'I've got a lovely view from my bedroom. I can get more ill here - or more ill there.'

Her publicist, Max Clifford, told GMTV today that doctors had provided her with drugs to help her cope.

“She’s determined and anybody that knows Jade knows a determined young lady she is,” he said. “And of course the Marsden have given her everything to try to control the pain as best as it’s possible to. There’s even going to be a special pouch in her wedding dress for pain killers, so that hopefully that will help her during her big day.”

Heartbroken Jack has pledged to carry Jade down the aisle if he has to. Admitting that he was "happy, but then I'm sad, obviously" he told the Daily Star: "Because she wasn't well the other day and I thought what happens if she has a bad day at the wedding, but then I just thought no, I know she's going to be all right for it.

"Even if I have to carry or drag her down there, she'll be down that aisle. Even in that hospital bed, I'll wheel the hospital bed down there."

Speaking about the planning of the wedding, he said: "She's done it all from a little laptop. Booked the place, got all the catering, got a helicopter for herself.

"I helped her pick the food earlier. Well, I didn't, I listened to her pick the food earlier."

He admitted to the newspaper that he hadn't yet written his wedding speech, but said he wanted to tell her how proud he was "and obviously how beautiful she is".

Jade will be wearing a £3,500 cream and ivory silk mikado gown given to her by Harrods owner Mohammed Fayed.

She wept when she tried it on in hospital, saying it was her “dream dress.”

Clifford said that it would be a “day she’ll never forget.” He said that after the wedding, Goody is in discussions to do a final interview with Piers Morgan.

The wedding itself will net more than £1million in coverage from OK! magazine and Living TV, which is part of the earnings Goody is putting aside for her sons Bobby, five, and four-year-old Freddie’s future.

The 27-year-old, who is fighting cervical cancer, was given the devastating news by doctors yesterday, according to the Daily Mirror. It had been hoped that treatment with the 'wonder drug' Topotecan would prolong the reality star's life.

However, doctors have said the cancer is so far advanced there is nothing more they can do.

The news comes after it emerged Jade is desperate to marry Jack Tweed before she loses her battle with cancer – and will even say ‘I do’ in her hospital bed if she is not well enough to go home.

She is planning a £1million ceremony ‘for the sake of her children’, according to The Daily Star.

She is hoping it will secure the future for sons Bobby Jack and Freddie.

A source said Jade is hoping to take part in a 'traditional' ceremony, but is prepared to tie the knot in hospital if she is too ill and weak.

The reality TV celebrity, who is suffering from cervical cancer, has been told she only has months to live - and is reported to have drawn up a will.

According to The Sun, doctors have told Jade they are powerless to stop the disease and she is no longer receiving chemotherapy.

They are now aiming to keep the young mother as comfortable and pain-free as possible.

Jade underwent emergency surgery at London’s Royal Marsden Hospital last Friday to remove a tumour from her bowel.

Her operation came just 24 hours after the 27-year-old was told the devastating news her cancer had spread to her bowel, groin and liver.

She was moved out of intensive care two days ago and is now said to be eager to return home to spend her remaining time with her sons and lover.

Her spokesman Max Clifford told The Daily Star: ‘We are all hoping for the best but Jade knows she might not have much time left, and to be blunt, she is desperate to earn as much money as she can.

‘It is fair to say that selling the rights to her wedding would be a surefire way of earning a big amount of money.’

Jade's reaction to her prognosis will be aired in the next installment of her reality series, 'Jade's Progress' which airs next week.

'I've dealt with losing my hair - but a poo bag, that really would have been the final indignity for a woman. But, like everything else, I'd have coped because I have to.

Jade was diagnosed with stage 4 cervical cancer last August while appearing on the Indian Big Brother and underwent emergency surgery to remove a large tumour, her womb and her ovaries.

Since then, she has had several bouts of chemotherapy, causing all her hair to fall out.

Only 15 per cent to 30 per cent of women with stage 4 cervical cancer will live longer than five years.

Doctors had told her she had a 40 per cent of survival but scrapped this estimate after discovering the cancer has spread.

The Mirror reported a source close to the mother-of-two saying: 'This is the news she has been dreading.

'No matter how bad things seemed before there was always some hope. Now even that has been taken away from her.

'She now has to face up to the full horror that she is going to die – and that she is going to die soon.'

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have donated one million dollars to support the education of 8,000 children in Iraq and the United States affected by the war, a charity said Wednesday.

The iconic Hollywood couple made the donation to the Education Partnership for Children of Conflict via their charity, the Jolie-Pitt Foundation.

A statement from the Education Partnership said the money would be split evenly between U.S. and Iraq non-profit groups.

Money will pay for basic necessities, including books and supplies to help send Iraqi children to school. Aid will also go to refugee kids, and to school rehabilitation programs.

The foundation will also help children in the United States who have a military parent killed in Iraq, or who are separated from a parent stationed in the country.

“These educational support programs for children of conflict are the best way to help them heal,” Jolie, who has visited Iraq twice in the past year, said in a statement.

Pitt added: “We hope to encourage others to give to these great organizations.”

Pitt, 44, and Jolie, 33, have donated millions of dollars to charity over the years. Jolie has long been an advocate for refugees and is a goodwill ambassador for the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR).

Beresford hailed the 300 million pound fortune of Madonna and her film director husband Guy Ritchie as "almost unique."

"She has joined the wrinkly rockers with the big touring income but she also has the record sales which they are not getting anymore," he added.

But Madonna's fortune is dwarfed in Britain's top 50 music millionaires list which is topped, like last year, by Clive Calder, founder of Zomba Records, who is valued at 1.3 billion pounds.

Having stayed out until 3am at celebrity restaurant San Lorenzo, in Knightsbridge, Mariah cancelled an interview on London's Capital Radio Breakfast Show because "she's not a morning person".

She then rescheduled a BBC Radio 1 interview because there were problems getting her four-car convoy to the studio from Claridge's hotel, less than half a mile away.

She insisted on having a £10,000 gym installed next to her penthouse suite at Claridge's. It was also rumoured she was bringing 100 pairs of shoes with her on the trip.

She booked every penthouse suite in the hotel to ensure her absolute privacy and comfort. She has a 15-strong entourage with her, including bodyguards, stylists, hairdressers, publicists and managers.

Perhaps Mariah's single greatest moment of diva madness came when she checked into London's Baglioni Hotel in 2005.

At 2am, a team of her minions arrived to check that everything was ready for their mistress's arrival. She, meanwhile, was driven around in her limo, until the hotel had rolled out a red carpet, lined with white candles, for her to make her entrance.

The hotel management was happy to oblige. Mariah was renting 15 rooms at a cost of £20,000 a night - small change to Mariah, who's worth an estimated £125 million.

When accepting her role in the upcoming film Tennessee, an independent, low-budget production, Mariah was told budgetary constraints meant she would have to travel to the location on an economy-class air ticket, rather than her usual first class or private jet.

Mariah agreed ... then bought every single economy seat on her flight, and travelled alone in the cabin.

Mariah has a steamy time in the bedroom ... but it's got nothing to do with her sex-life. As part of her obsessive campaign to preserve her all-important vocal cords, she insists on maintaining rainforest levels of humidity.

"I'll have 20 humidifiers around the bed," Mariah reveals. "Basically, it's like sleeping in a steam room. The bed is all towelling cloth, the ceiling is sloped so the water can't fall on my head, and it drips down to my side. My TV is behind glass."

She insists on wearing high heels at all times, and has even been filmed in her stilettos while using her home-gym equipment. "I can't wear flat shoes," she sighs. "My feet repel them."

Mariah turned 38 on March 27 this year, but she refuses to acknowledge her birthdays or advancing age. "Honestly, I don't even have birthdays. I call them anniversaries. It really is about how young you feel," she claims.

"I'm eternally 12. And that 12-year-old inside me is an eternal optimist."

Mariah used to insist on flying her Jack Russell terrier, Jack, in a first class seat, until he grew too big. Now he either goes by private jet - "Jack lives on a private jet," twitters Mariah - or by chauffeur-driven Mercedes. She has been known to have him driven the full 2,461 miles between her homes in Los Angeles and New York.

In Paris last week, she arrived almost three hours late for a press conference, by which time most of the media had given up and left. Mariah then stayed for less than 30 minutes.

Indeed, her tardiness is legendary. She once arrived 90 minutes late for the Capital Radio awards because she had broken a fingernail.

At the Save The Music benefit show last September, organisers built an hour's delay into their schedule specifically to allow for Mariah's lax timekeeping.

Mariah refuses to speak to anyone for two days before a concert, communicating only through notes. She recently remarked that she wanted a voice machine like Stephen Hawking's to save herself the trouble of writing.

She only consumes soft drinks through a straw and insists on these being available whenever she makes a personal appearance. She even has people to hold her drink as she sips.

Mariah recently slimmed down from a well-rounded size 14 to a skinny 6. She insisted on flying her personal fitness trainer Patricia to New York for their exercise sessions.

"Patricia lives in St Barts, poor girl," Mariah explained. "People say to me: 'Only you would fly someone from St Barts in the Caribbean to New York to work out.'"

When married to Tommy Mottola, former boss of Sony records, she lived in a 12-bedroom mansion with its own ballroom, firing range, helipad and two swimming pools.

While making the video for her recent single Shake It Off, Mariah insisted on being carried around the set because her teetering shoes had left her tender tootsies in pain. "I was in agony," she huffed afterwards. "My high heels had left my feet bleeding. Laugh all you want, my feet hurt."

Mariah owns a 12,000 square-foot, three-storey apartment in New York's trendy Tribeca district. She proudly insists: "If anyone ever buys this place, they had better be a diva or they can't live here."

There is a Roman-style chaise longue in the dark-green marble kitchen, "because I like to recline when I eat". Mariah's bathroom has a gold ceiling and pink and beige satin drapes. Steps lead up to the bath.

Mariah has four giant, walk-in closets, including one just for her lingerie and another for her shoes. The biggest of all, which contains four mobile wardrobes, is big enough to be used as a fitting-room for Mariah and her team of stylists. "The closets are a big part of my life. It sounds obsessive - but they are pretty fabulous," she swoons.

Mariah has not used public transport for at least 15 years. "I hate the bus!" she recently shrieked. "I've already been on the bus I don't need to go back on the bus."

At a concert in Karlsruhe, Germany, Mariah suffered a costume catastrophe that exposed her magnificent (and, she insists, all-natural) breasts to the crowd. She had the lights doused and yelled: "Someone bring me a jacket or the show's off," before fleeing the darkened stage. The concert resumed after modesty had been restored.

Leading magazines have started dishing out the cash in millions for the first pictures of celebs’ babies.
People paid Christina Aguilera a reported 1.5 million dollars for pics of her newborn son Max, and shelved out a whopping 6 million dollars for those of Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony’s new twins, Max and Emme.
National Enquirer Executive Editor Barry Levine said that the whole process had become a big business nowadays, with magazines going the extra mile to make sure the paparazzi don’t obtain the photos.
"It's become big business now. It's outrageous, they've gotten very sophisticated. The rights are bought up now even before the celeb enters the hospital. They hire extra security so it's impossible to obtain a photo illegally," the New York Post quoted him, as saying.
He added that the people who would command the highest price would be Angelina Jolie and partner Brad Pitt.

Added American Media Editorial Director Bonnie Fuller: "If J.Lo really did get $6 million, then I think Angelina can now command 8 million USD. I can't think at this point who could command more money than Brangelina."

American pop princess Britney Spears, who has been trying to keep herself in shape for an upcoming video, has decided to use an animated version of her sleek self instead.

Jive Records released photos of the singer on March 11, showing her in anime superhero mode with long blond hair and an angular jaw. Two other photos showed her as suited up in different futuristic, body-hugging outfits.
One photo had a hazy close-up of Spears' face, while a fourth was a shot of a skyscraper with the word "Victory" printed vertically on its side, with a picture of what looks like the moon by its side, E!Online reported.
Even though Jive would not reveal where the pictures came from, Britain's tabloid the Sun reported that they were stills from Spears' upcoming single video "Break the Ice”, an idea, which had been put forward by Spears herself.
Previously, her fans had been led to think that Spears was busy practising her dance routines for her "Hot as Ice" video at a North Hollywood dance studio, where she had enlisted a couple of top L.A.-area choreographers to help her with her moves and to put her back in shape.
Spears, who has been having a tough time with her physical and mental health, along with dealing with her parents and fighting for the custody of her kids, is now ready to make a comeback her pals said.

NBC furious with Mariah Carey

American television network NBC is apparently furious with Mariah Carey, her manager Benny Medina and her representative at Def Jam because they promised the singer would perform on Today to promote her new album E=MC2, but is instead going on archrival ABC's Good Morning America.

Pagesix.com quoted a source as saying: "Every morning show wanted Carey on for her new album, so Benny started negotiating. He demanded that Today promote her fragrance and also give her a guest-star role on My Name is Earl. They agreed."

But her My Name Is Earl part, which was to coincide with the album release, was put off when it was decided the album needed work.

"It was supposed to come out in November, then it was pushed back until February, and now the release date is April 15. The entire time, Benny told Today it would get Carey for its concert series on Rockefeller Plaza. But then he stopped returning calls. Turns out, he had done a side deal behind everyone's back with Good Morning America—after NBC had agreed to all of his demands."

However, Medina denies he ever promised Today that Carey would give a concert on Rockefeller Plaza.

"If they can show me an e-mail from anyone committing to the concert, I will personally pay for the entire production myself," he said.

Ms Leibovitz's latest pictures will be published in time for the worldwide release of the long-awaited Sex And The City film at the end of May.

Several endings have been shot in a bid to keep fans guessing whether perennial singleton Carrie will finally tie the knot with Mr Big.

Miss Parker has given little away, although she recently said: "The movie doesn't pick up right where the series ended. It's a few years later.

"The story - which is like the whole series - is about friendship and growing up and the decisions we make and the triumphs. And it's about the massive disappointment and the mistakes.

"A lot of this movie is going to be surprising to people. This is a grown-up movie."

Far be it for me to condemn a woman for getting her tits out, but I can´t help noticing and commenting on how happy Christian Aguilera seems to be with her new improved rack. Obviously that visit to the Ellen show where she teased Ellen DeGeneres and her audience with her huge breasts was a trial run. It went well for her, so now she has them out wherever she goes.

Note how well she pulls off the ´slutty casual´ look here. At first she just looks like any young mom, out in a baseball cap and swats. Then you realize that her top is actually undone halfway down her torso, and she´s practically swinging those breasts in the photographers´ faces.

I suppose its best that she enjoys them now, before the milk does down and she´s left with the inevitable post pregnancy sag a la Britney Spears.

Prisoner Britney´s Desperate Lawsuit

Britney Spears´ life seems to be calming down somewhat now that her Dad is in control of her finances and the evil genius Sam Lutfi is unable to drug her anymore, but don´t think that means the drama has died away completely. Oh no, Sam Lutfi is apparently not ready to let go so easily, and a heretofore unknown lawyer has filed papers in federal court claiming that Britney Spears´ conservatorship arrangements are an illegal breach of her civil liberties.

The attorney´s name is John Eardley, and he claims that Britney called him on the phone and that the result of that phone call was the filing of the legal papers. Funnily enough, there is no real proof that Britney ever got in touch with the lawyer, but there is proof that the lawyer also has connections with Sam Lutfi. How convenient.

The claim is that Britney is a prisoner in her own home, and that the California courts railroaded her into the conservatorship arrangement. Its interesting how in spite of Britney´s hugely public meltdown over the past year, there are still people who think she´s doing just fine.

I wonder if we can have them committed.

Britney SpearsThe lawyer who derailed the Britney Spears conservatorship case tells TMZ Britney herself called him and asked him to take the reigns. The question: Will a judge be buyin' what he's sellin'?

Attorney John Eardley filed papers in federal court last Thursday, alleging the California courts have railroaded Britney by imposing a conservatorship. Eardley tells us Britney called him, but he would not disclose the circumstances surrounding the alleged call or what she said. We do know that Michael Sands, who used to be the spokesperson for K-daddy's lawyer, Mark Vincent Kaplan, is now the mouthpiece for Eardley. And Sands also reps Sam Lutfi, who is now restrained from all things Britney.

So, are Lutfi and Sands behind the whole magilla with Eardley? Smells like it.

Eardley tells TMZ Britney didn't sign a retainer agreement because she is being "held hostage" in her own home. Ironically, a half hour before he told us this, we looked out our office windows and saw Britney driving through West Hollywood on a shopping spree.

Just by filing the Federal papers, Eardley has paralyzed the California courts from issuing more orders in the conservatorship case unless and until the Federal judge tells Eardley to take a hike.

Victoria later told a friend: "It was the second best day of my life - after our first wedding."

David began masterminding the couple's second wedding after they had their third son, Cruz, while he was playing for Real Madrid.

He secretly invited their closest friends and family and even had a white dress made to fit his wife.

A friend said: "David was meticulously planning the big day for months. It was a huge undertaking to keep it all under wraps.

"He was desperately excited but had had to keep quiet with everyone but his and Victoria's closest family.

"Only a handful of people were at the ceremony and they've managed to keep it under wraps for nearly two years.

"It was an incredibly beautiful day and everyone lucky enough to be present was in tears when they repeated their vows.

"It was simple, beautiful and very non-showbiz. It was about them as a couple and a family unit - not glitz and glamour."

Victoria was apparently stunned at how much trouble David had gone to to keep the day a secret and cried when he proposed on arrival at their lavish home in Sawbridgeworth.

The friend said: "As she arrived he got down on one knee and asked her to marry him again. They were both in tears and she immediately said Yes.

"Victoria couldn't believe the lengths he had gone to to make it a perfect day - she was truly lost for words.

"He had personally overseen everything, from the flowers to the cake - even a beautiful white dress he knew she had her eye on."

David did not even stop there, and the next day whisked his wife to Paris where he showered her with gifts.

The friend added: "David took her shopping to Azzedine Alaia and Colette, two of her favourite stores, and told her to choose anything she wanted as a wedding gift.

"Their suite was filled with hundreds of roses. It was like a dream come true - the setting could not have been more beautiful.

"Everything was perfect - and Posh's tattoo with the date of the event reminds her of it every day."

The Beckhams' marriage appears to have had a new lease of life since the couple moved to the U.S. last year after David signed with LA Galaxy.

He accompanied Victoria during part of the Spice Girl reunion tour and during a family day out in December they appeared more in love than ever.

It has not always been so - particularly during David's playing days at Real Madrid when he allegedly had an affair with his assistant, Rebecca Loos.

Looking bedraggled, the bra-less 26-year-old skipped out of rehearsals to smoke and adjust her torn fishnets in full view of waiting photographers.

The former pop princess is currently under the watchful eye of her father Jamie, who has taken charge of his daughter's estimated £20 million estate and personal affairs since she was committed to hospital over a week ago.

Both he and Miss Spears' mother Lynne, are said to be upset their daughter was released from hospital 11 days early after her lawyers overruled doctors' advice.

In a joint statement the pair said: "We are deeply concerned about our daughter's safety and vulnerability and we believe her life is presently at risk."

Both parents, who are divorced, strongly disapprove of her relationship with Birmingham-born photographer Adnan Ghalib.

Miss Spear's recent hospital stay is the latest incident in a series of public meltdowns for the star.

Five weeks ago the Toxic star was stretched into an ambulance after refusing to hand over her children to ex-husband Kevin Federline following a three-hour stand-off with police.

The incident resulted in a hospital stay - and the loss of custody of sons Sean Preston, two, and Jayden James, one.

Then on 28 January her family, with the agreement of record company executives, called in police and an ambulance to re-admit the singer for psychiatric evaluation.

The decision followed numerous displays of erratic and bizarre behaviour by the star which included crying barefoot outside her home.

A restraining order against her former manager Sam Lufti is also in place, alleging that he drugged the star and took over her finances.

Lynne Spears made the declaration in court alleging that Lufti drugged her daughter and cut her phone wires in order to manipulate her.

Britney is said to be desperate to regain control of her estate and finances and is seeking to have a court order granting her father conservatorship overturned. She is battling to regain custody of her sons.

Britney released from psychiatric ward a week after being sectioned

Troubled singer Britney Spears was last night released from a psychiatric ward after just a week of treatment.

Britney, 26, left the hospital wearing a blue dress, sunglasses and a patterned trilby hat and jumped straight in her black Mercedes and drove to a hotel.

The Toxic singer managed to dodge half the waiting press in her dramatic exit as she snuck out one of the UCLA Medical Centre's side door.

Seconds later cars and helicopters were following her to Los Angeles to the Beverley Hills Hotel.

Police arrived and broke up the swarming crowd of photographers and reporters - and Britney was promptly escorted inside.

An hour later her her paparazzo boyfriend Adnan Ghalib pulled up at the hotel in a silver Mercedes and went inside to see her.

The news comes after it was today claimed Britney secretly had her breasts enlarged as a teenager with the blessing of her mother Lynne.

And the report was made just three days after her 72 hour evalution period was extended by a further 14 days.

The LA Times claims that the singer slipped out of the ward with "relatively little fanfare".

Rolling Stone Magazine published an article today claiming Britney had her breasts enlarged as a teenager - but later had it reversed.

Britney reportedly went under the knife to get bigger breasts - but she then decided they were too big.

So she had surgery again to get rid of her new implants, it has been claimed.

A source told Rolling Stone magazine that she and Lynne, 52, had made the decision for her to get them, on the assumption that the culture demanded it, but the press leapt on her scornfully.

"She regretted the implants, particularly because her chest was still growing.

"And when her natural breasts became larger, she had the implants removed."

Friend Darrin Henson told the magazine: "When other girls did their boobs, they were like, 'Yeah I did my boobs, move on' but Britney was brought up to lie about herself.

"Britney would come offstage after performing in front of 15 to 16,000 people and start crying because she thought she was terrible."

He added: "The girl doesn't know who she is."

Britiney has always denied she was surgically enhanced.

The fallen star posed for a sexually suggestive cover of Rolling Stone magazine in April 1999.

The image sparked a debate in the media over whether the then 17-year-old star had had breast implants.

A friend told Rolling Stone: "When Britney saw the papers she was crying uncontrollably, asking, 'Why is everyone being so mean to me?'

"It was very hurtful for her to go through something so private so publicly."

The new issue of the magazine also details the chart star's unraveling mental state.

It includes an account of the singer verbally abusing a fan and breaking down in a shopping centre.

When her credit card failed to go through she is reported to have reacted furiously.

And after a fan approched her for a photograph she told her paparazzi boyfriend: "I don't want her talking to me!"

She then reportedly screamed at the young girl: "I don't know who you think I am, bitch, but I'm not that person."

Britney is currently in a Los Angeles psychiatric hospital where she is having treatment after being sectioned.

Today it emerged she begged her father James to get her out of the ward she's in and take her home.

Mr Spears, who is estranged from his troubled daughter, said he went to the hospital after receiving four calls from her on Sunday begging him to visit.

The calls are revealed in legal documents filed by her father asking a court to leave him in charge of the Oops I Dit it Again singer's legal and business affairs while she receives treatment.

Mr Spears states in the papers: "On Sunday I was unable to visit the hospital because I had to work. I am a cook and I was catering a large Super Bowl party.

"While I was working Britney called me on my cell phone at least four times. She called about every 20 minutes."

Mr Spears described a visit to see his daughter later that afternnon, where he encountered hostility from Britney after he refused to give into her pleas, according to a People report.

Britney said: "Come on, daddy, let's get out of here. Take my hand and let's walk out of here together."

Britney became increasingly agitated as her father refused to let her leave, accusing him of keeping her in care against her will.

"Somebody's lying. You put me in here."

Mr Spears tried to comfort the star, assuring her that he loved her and was helping Britney to regain custody of her children, currently staying with their father Kevin Federline, who has full legal and physical custody of the boys.

Britney replied: "No, I have new lawyers that will help me with my stuff."

"You don't (love me)", said Britney, "The doctor told me you are keeping me in here."

The conversation between father and daughter ended with Britney telling her dad that property of hers had been stolen by her self-proclaimed "manager" Sam Lutfi.

Mr Spears states: "She asked me to help her get it back. I told her that I would."

He has since filed a police report claiming a theft occurred at Britney's house.

And he remains the temporary conservator over Britney's affairs pending another hearing on 14 February, when Los Angeles Superior Court commissioner Reva Goetz will decide whether to extend it.

Britney's divorce case lawyers are also seeking renewed visitation for the star with her children under the supervision of a mental health expert.

The next hearing in the custody case is scheduled for 19 February.

A restraining order aimed at Lutfi alleges that he drugged the pop star, took over her life and finances and controlled the paparazzi who pursued her for months.

The order, based on a lengthy declaration from Spears' mother, Lynne, says Spears met Lutfi in October 2007 and "Mr. Lutfi has essentially moved into Britney's home and has purported to take control of her life, home and finances."

Lynne alleges Lutfi crushed up Britney's medication and placed it in her food and "gave Britney something to make her more light-hearted" during one of their visits.

Lutfi, 33, apparently told Lynne the Toxic star would kill herself if he wasn't there to administer her pills.

The documents released by a court ordered Lutfi to stay away from Spears and stop the harassment.

Lynne Spears' declaration said, "Mr. Lutfi drugged Britney, he has cut Britney's home phone lines and removed her cell phone chargers.

"He yells at her. He claims to control everything - Britney's business manager, her attorneys and the security guards at the gate."

The order, dated February 1 this year, instructs the 'manager' to stay at least 250 yards away from the singer, her cars, her children's school, her home, UCLA Medical Center, her parents' homes, and her siblings' homes.

It also orders him not to harass or contact Britney, or try and find out where she is.

"If you do not obey these orders you can be arrested and charged with a crime.

"And you may have to go to jail, pay a fine of up to $1,000 (£509) or both," the LA Superior Court documents state.

The most shocking part of the legal documents is a declaration filed by Lynn Spears after she visited her daughter at her Beverly Hills home on 28 January.

Lynne claims she went to see Britney with a friend called Jackie after hearing news reports that she was in tears following a fight with Lutfi.

According to the statement, when Lutfi heard Britney's mother was on her way he did everything he could to make sure she was not in the house.

He apparently told Britney her parents were coming to perform an intervention and gave a photographer the keys to one of her cars so he could get her out of the way.

When Lynne arrived and Britney finally returned home Lutfi allegedly told Lynne she must follow his instructions.

According to the court documents he said: "I'm the one who spends 24/7 with your daughter. I sleep in cars outside her house so she can't leave.

"You people throw everyone under the bus. If you don't listen to me I'm going to make your name s*** in the papers."

After he was invited to a party hosted by Mrs Beckham and her husband David in 2006, Mr Cameron told a think-tank: "She is very thin. I leant forward to kiss Victoria but there is so little of her I almost missed."

But celebrity watchers still believe that these children are the offspring of Michael Jackson.

Few outside the family and their staff have seen the faces of the children. The star has gone to great lengths to conceal their appearance in public, with scarves and shawls.

Had it not been for 49-year-old Jackson attempting another "incognito" outfit as the family stepped out in Las Vegas, they might have gone unnoticed.

He appeared in a scruffy green anorak with the hood pulled down low, large dark glasses and a scarf across the lower half of his face.

The outfit was relatively subdued, compared to some of the bizarre clothes he has worn in recent years.

Britney Spears is heading back to the unemployment line. Though considering what else is going on, termination is the least of her worries.

Two weeks ago, Spears agreed to host next month's Scandinavian Style Mansion gala, a fashion fete thrown by her pal and latest entourage addition Claus Hjelmbak, which would have been her first gig of the year.

But in the wake of her hospitalization and psych evaluation, Hjelmbak decided to issue an uninvitation.

"Due to recent events, Britney Spears will not be hosting the Scandinavian Style Mansion event on Feb. 16 as recently announced," the Danish fashion executive tells E! News exclusively. "As a friend, my primary concern is for Britney's well-being and giving her the love and support she needs."

While Hjelmbak, a participant in Spears' late-night Kitson shopping run earlier this month, is rescinding his offer for the singer to host the swank fashion gathering, he said Spears was more than welcome to attend the do in a less taxing capacity.

"I still hope she will be well enough to attend the gala event as my personal guest," he says.

The gala is set to feature the crème de la crème of Scandinavian fashion houses.

In Spears' honor, Hjelmbak says he will be donating a portion of the proceeds from the evening's pricey VIP passes to the charity of her choosing.

Earlier Thursday, the fashion-forward foreigner told E! News that his thoughts were with the troubled star and that he supported the decision—apparently made for, not by, her—to seek treatment.

"I have been in touch with those close to her, and all I can say is my foremost concern is for her to get the help she needs," he said.

Hjelmbak was slated to head to UCLA Medical Center to visit Spears later this afternoon.

The duo's friendship came to light in December, when Spears celebrated her 26th birthday at a Scandinavian Style Mansion event. Next month's gala will be held at a private home in Beverly Hills.

When Hjelmbak first announced Spears' emcee duties earlier this month, he dismissed the whacked-out public image of Spears as nothing more than media slanting.

"She's really sweet and down to earth and fun to be around," he said at the time.

The "Gimme More" singer remains hospitalized after her psychiatrist determined she was a potential danger to herself or others. It's her second forced trip to a psych ward in recent weeks. Britney Spears has been taken to a Los Angeles hospital by ambulance to be put under psychiatric care for the second time this month.

She was taken to UCLA Medical Centre just after 1am after a carefully staged intervention, with sources saying she was not resistant.

Police and ambulance services descended on her LA home last night amid ongoing fears the troubled pop star might kill herself.

It appears the operation had been in planning for a number of days and vehicles were blocked from following the same route as the emergency services convoy.

Britney's mother, Lynne, who reunited with her daughter earlier this week after months of estrangement, best friend Alli Sims and “manager” Sam Lutfi were all at the property when police and ambulance arrived.

The hospitalisation came after Britney's psychiatrist visited the star and recommended she be temporarily committed on the basis she poses a danger to herself and to others, according to reports.

Britney, who is being treated for bipolar disorder, had not slept in days was seen driving blindly around in a new Mercedes saloon two days before the intervention.

At one point, she became lost and asked a photographer for directions using an English accent.

Her psychiatrist is said to have ruled she should be treated under a 5150 hold, the same order that led to her being forcibly taken from her house on a stretcher earlier this month after a three-hour stand-off with police during which she locked herself in the bathroom with one of her sons.

Her visitation rights were stripped following the incident.

Under California law, a 5150 order allows a patient to be hospitalised against their will for up to 72 hours.

Lynne, who followed the convoy to hospital in her car along with Britney's boyfriend Adnan Ghalib, flew into Los Angeles from her home in Louisiana on Monday, where she reunited with her daughter after an ongoing rift.

The pair have been estranged since last summer, when they reportedly fell out over Britney's children.

Sources say Britney went to hospital willing, but earlier this month, she allegedly threatened to commit suicide if she is forced into psychiatric care.

She reportedly told a friend: "They're not sending me to the nut house! No one can make me go - and I'm not going.

"I'll kill myself before I let them lock me up again. So tell Mama and Daddy I said so. Oh my God, it's over for me."

Britney has been in a highly public downward spiral since filing for divorce from Federline in November 2006.

Never one to be upstaged, Angelina Jolie spent much of Sunday evening submitting herself to the sort of intensive ministrations from a small army of stylists, hairdressers and make-up artists that might seem a touch excessive even on one of her big budget movies.

The results were, unsurprisingly, traffic-stopping as she glided up the red carpet on the arm of lover Brad Pitt for an awards ceremony in Hollywood.

Not least because her billowing Hermes gown did an inadequate job of covering the "baby bump" that - if reports in the U.S. are correct - contains twins.

Her glittering display at the Screen Actors Guild Awards was, however, a marked transformation from her appearance earlier at the couple's Malibu home.

She is said to have spent the day in tears as she, Pitt, her actor brother James Haven and her four children commemorated the anniversary of her mother's death.

This was a manifestly different Angelina from her date with photographers the same evening. Make-up free, visibly shrunken and pale, friends say she spent the day reading poems and looking at pictures of Marcheline Bertrand, her actress mother who died of cancer a year ago.

An American source told the Mail last night: "It was a sad day, but Angelina knows her mother would have wanted her to carry on working and this was a big event."

As a bonus, the occasion afforded the couple the chance to put on a loved-up display for the cameras as they giggled and canoodled at their table.

One U.S. magazine reported last week that the couple are "ecstatic" after learning that they are expecting twins to add to their three adopted children and a biological daughter.

Certainly, there did appear to be the telltale signs of a tummy beneath Angelina's floor-length frock and she appeared oddly buxom given her slight arms.

What is undeniably true is that she has been trying for a child for several months. In September friends revealed doctors had advised her to put on weight if she wanted to get pregnant.

At the same time the couple are said to be planning to adopt a girl in New Orleans left orphaned by Hurricane Katrina to add to her rainbow family of adopted children (the couple already have sons Maddox, six, a Cambodian, and Vietnamese Pax, three, plus daughter Zahara, two, as well as Shiloh).

The move to adopt in the U.S. comes after Angelina is said to have been left heartbroken when her attempts to adopt another baby from Ethiopia were turned down eight weeks ago, after African authorities decided to crack down on foreign adoptions.

The decision came as it surfaced that, while Miss Jolie had publicly stated that Zahara was an orphan whose mother had died of Aids, the child's mother is, in fact, alive and - unbeknown to the famous couple - been the subject of a campaign of threats and intimidation from the local man who arranged the adoption.

But those around her are convinced that having a pregnancy to focus on couldn't be more timely for the actress.

Many in her circle had become concerned in recent months about her health as her weight plummeted worryingly to below seven stone. Her actor brother James went public over his own concerns, telling a magazine: "Angelina's life changed after she visited Ethiopia. Whenever she's there, there's often no food for her and she goes without.

"It's hard for her to sit in an expensive restaurant and order freely. She feels guilty about what she eats compared with so many starving people whom she wants to help."

All of which is perturbing, particularly when, as she continued to lose weight, Angelina was telling friends that her and Brad, 44, were trying for a baby.

Meanwhile, rumours have abounded in Hollywood in recent weeks that she collapsed twice on the set of her latest movie - Clint Eastwood's The Changeling (which might, of course, be explained by her early pregnancy).

She is also said recently to have confessed to being "depressed" about what she sees as her lack of progress in solving world hunger.

Another reason to celebrate her pregnancy is the positive effect on her relationship with Pitt, who is reported to have tired of her insistence on trailing their children around the Third World on her charitable missions.

Just weeks ago he was allegedly telling his family that his three-year relationship with Miss Jolie was so troubled he was considering applying for joint custody of the children.

But they quelled the gossip by putting on an over-the-top display of affection this month at the Critics' Choice awards in California. Then, as on Sunday, Angelina gave every impression of being a woman in love.

But, this being Tinseltown, some remain unconvinced, not least because their attempts to silence the chatter come at the same time as Brad is said to be preparing to put his acting career on hold to run for political office.

Sources in the Democratic Party say he has been approached to run for mayor of New Orleans, where he has set up his own foundation to build homes for the victims of Hurricane Katrina.

The break-up of another relationship so soon after his divorce from his first wife Jennifer Aniston (Pitt left the Friends actress after meeting Miss Jolie on the set of Mr & Mrs Smith in 2005) could hamper help his chances of election in two years' time.

His decision to follow fellow actor Arnold Schwarzenegger into politics would certainly explain the couple's decision to buy a £2million home in the disaster-hit Louisiana city after announcing that they are quitting LA and their Malibu mansion.

It is all part, say insiders, of the actor's attempts to distance himself from his reputation as a motorbike riding good-time guy and cement his reinvention as a man of the people.

He has hired his own "philanthropic adviser", Trevor Neilsen, who worked for President Clinton's Washington administration, to boost his humanitarian credentials and set up his own "Make It Right" campaign to build ecohomes in New Orleans' Ninth Ward, which was hardest hit by the floods.

But the family's relocation to the city's French Quarter has not been without its problems for the couple. Friends say life has become intolerable because they are mobbed by hordes of gawping locals wherever they go.

One source told the Mail: "It's bad enough in LA with the paparazzi, but at least in California there are loads of celebrities, and people leave you alone. But in New Orleans they are the only stars among a lot of very poor people who have never seen anything like them. The whole situation is beyond a joke."

An illustration of the goldfish bowl lifestyle the couple and their children have come to endure came on Boxing Day when Pitt drove Angelina and the children to a drive-through burger bar in a working-class neighbourhood after an afternoon at the cinema.

Soon the couple's white people carrier was surrounded by an mob of locals all attempting to take pictures with their mobile.

Eventually a bodyguard - part of a security team which always travels with them - was forced to confront the crowd and ask them to back off for the sake of the couple's scared children.

Despite the inconvenience, being visible on the streets will do no harm to Brad's bid for power (nor will the PR of adopting a New Orleans orphan). However Pitt, who took on his charitable causes after meeting Angelina, has not turned his back completely on his film star lifestyle.

As a refuge from his mercy missions to New Orleans, he has taken over a £50,000-a-month lease in Manhattan's ultra-glamorous Waldorf Towers.

He is said to retreat there for some "Brad Time" away from his new family. The star is said to be exhausted because he is expected by his lover to take over the bulk of child care, while she continues her filming schedule.

Associates say Pitt is tasked with getting the children up for school, so Angelina can have a lie-in. She also demands quiet while she is reading and recently left him alone with their brood, while she checked into a Beverly Hills hotel suite for several days.

At the same time she is said to have only half-joked to friends that Brad has not been able to keep up with the reams of UN briefing papers she insists they both read because he spends too much time having his hair lightened.

Nor has he been able to give up the boys' toys to which, like his taste for cigarettes, he remains addicted.

When he has found time to take a break from looking after the children, Pitt has been having helicopter lessons and has just taken his private pilot's exam to fly his own plane.

At Christmas he also added a 165mph Yamaha to his collection of motorbikes. They have come in useful. After one row during an ill-fated holiday to France in September, he is said to have ridden one of his motorcycles from the chateau they were renting in the Dordogne all the way to Berlin.

But their touchy-feely performance at the weekend would suggest they have put their problems behind them.

Angelina is also said to be keen to reconcile with her actor father Jon Voight after a six-year feud. Voight, who walked out on her mother when she was six months' old, was cut off by Angelina after he begged his daughter to seek help for her "serious emotional problems" on a TV show in 2002.

But, after Voight publicly lauding her humanitarian work, she is said to have called him on Christmas Day and told him she was prepared to try to repair their relationship.

Britney Spears got into what is assumed to be an argument last night with Sam Lufti. Britney and Sam were pulling up to the gate of her house when Britney jumped out of the car. She appeared to be crying and was clutching her dog London. People reports:

Wearing brown high heels, cutoff shorts and a plaid fedora, Spears then seemed to downplay the incident, saying, "I'm fine. I'm . . . having a nice time with my dog." (She later hopped into a car with another photographer, Filipe Teixeira, who gave her a lift to Ralph's supermarket in Studio City, before bringing her home. He and another photographer pal were then invited inside, where they spent the remainder of the night.)

After being out of the picture for a while, Adnan Ghalib appeared was not allowed past the gate. The guards had instructions to keep him out. Adnan showed his fellow paps a text from Sam that claims he is a “manic trigger.” Meanwhile, Britney’s parents showed up at the house:

Other clips apaprently have Britney confessing that she does love Kevin, and her children. I´m not sure when we crossed the line from playful observation of a wild child to profiting from the mental breakdown of an afflictede human being, but it´s pretty obvious that these latest tapes go way over that line.

If Britney still has any lawyers left, and this is in fact a true story, then she needs to sue the ass off this Adnan guy, and hopefully have him kicked out of the country. What scum.

Because apparently to Amy Winehouse, Toys R Us is an appropriate place to smoke crack and leave broken glass lying around. I’ve been saying this for years, but it’s nice to hear someone else say it for once.

Heath Ledger Is No More

Heath Ledger was found dead today in a New York City apartment owned by Mary-Kate Olsen according to the New York Times:

At 3:31 p.m., a masseuse arrived at Apartment 5A in the building for an appointment with Mr. Ledger, the police said. The masseuse was let in to the home by a housekeeper, who then knocked on the door of Mr. Ledger’s bedroom. When no one answered, the housekeeper and the masseuse opened the bedroom and found Mr. Ledger unconscious. They shook him, but he did not respond. They immediately called the authorities.
The police said they did not suspect foul play. Officials said pills were found near the body.

TMZ reports Heath Ledger was in full cardiac arrest when paramedics arrived and was announced dead at the scene.

Heath Ledger was reportedly suffering from pneumonia, according to TMZ. The pills were over the counter sleeping pills and accidental overdose is not being ruled out. An autopsy is being performed tomorrow.
